We have been with Just Swim for two years+ for 1:1 swimming lessons. We started with Coach Darren, who taught our son. He was a great coach and our son picked up his swimming skills quickly and confidently. When we felt our son was ready to stop lessons, we enrolled our daughter with Coach Dorothy. Our daughter was initially resistant to learning, but with time, Coach Dorothy trained her well with the right balance of TLC and discipline. Coach Jeff has been a fantastic swim coach for my son, Keita. Within a year, Keita learned front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Jeff is very patient and great with kids, which made every lesson enjoyable. Keita always looked forward to his swimming classes and really had fun learning. Absolutely. Many of our adult learners at Parc Centros start with no swimming background at all. Our NROC-certified coaches work patiently on water confidence first, then build up to strokes at a pace that suits you.
Each session at Parc Centros runs for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the swimmer’s age. For children under four years old, lessons are kept to 30 minutes so younger learners stay comfortable and focused. Older children and adults train for up to 45 minutes, which allows more time for warm-up, skill practice, and feedback.
Children from around three years old can begin lessons at Parc Centros. Younger swimmers learn through play-based activities, while older children focus on technique. Each class is tailored to the swimmer’s age and ability.
Most families train once or twice a week at Parc Centros. Weekly lessons build steady, lasting progress, while twice-weekly sessions suit swimmers working towards a specific goal. We offer both weekday and weekend slots.
Yes, parents are welcome to observe from the poolside area. Children often feel more settled knowing a parent is close by. We just ask that observers stay clear of the teaching space during the session.
Please bring swimwear, goggles, a towel, and a water bottle. A swim cap is recommended, and younger children may want a change of clothes. All training aids are provided by our coaches.
