We have been with Just Swim for two years+ for 1:1 swimming lessons. We started with Coach Darren, who taught our son. He was a great coach and our son picked up his swimming skills quickly and confidently. When we felt our son was ready to stop lessons, we enrolled our daughter with Coach Dorothy. Our daughter was initially resistant to learning, but with time, Coach Dorothy trained her well with the right balance of TLC and discipline. We are very happy to see that our daughter has now graduated and is able to swim and survive in the water. Thank you, Coach Darren and Coach Dorothy!!

Coach Jeff has been a fantastic swim coach for my son, Keita. Within a year, Keita learned front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Jeff is very patient and great with kids, which made every lesson enjoyable. Keita always looked forward to his swimming classes and really had fun learning. Yes, and this is a common starting point here. Our coaches use short, gentle sessions in the shallower water so toddlers and preschoolers can get comfortable before any stroke work begins.
Each session at The Amore runs for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the swimmer's age. For children under four years old, lessons are kept to 30 minutes so younger learners stay comfortable and focused. Older children and adults train for up to 45 minutes, which allows more time for warm-up, skill practice, and feedback.
Children from around three years old can start at The Amore. Younger learners focus on water familiarity, floating, and breath control through play. Lessons are always matched to your child's stage rather than their age alone.
Yes. We deliberately keep group sizes small so every swimmer gets proper attention, which matters even more with very young learners. Private one-to-one coaching is also available if you prefer.
Yes, parents are welcome to observe from the poolside seating. Young children in particular settle better knowing a parent is nearby. We just ask that observers stay outside the teaching area.
Please bring swimwear, goggles, a towel, and a water bottle. For younger children, a swim cap and a change of clothes are also recommended. Training aids are provided by our coaches.
